Weight or Wings

 Ladies...

Being single has it's struggles, and it's downsides.

But, when you live by the "weight or wings" philosophy, you choose YOU!

A man will either give you weight, or he will give you wings (or strengthen the one's you already have).  

There are too many men out here who can't fly, and have no desire to fly.  

But, are completely comfortable weighing a woman down.

I get it. He's cute! He's fun! He makes you laugh! So does puppies...

Listen, he can continue to do all of that in the FRIEND-ZONE.

Those wings you've developed, weren't Blessed upon you to be weighed down by a man who hasn't even developed "wing buds".

If he's not already flying, keep soaring in the other direction.

LEND Me Your Eyes

 LEND me your eyes...

Since relocating to Baton Rouge, I have experienced some traumatizing turmoil!

In the midst of it all, I have had people hold me down at EVERY obstacle (men and women).  

But, this is more about men.

Men that I don't ever see, and don't even talk to everyday, make sure I am good. 

I say that to say this...

Some of you women are waking up next to a man that has moved into your space that YOU created!

These same men can't, and WON'T, give you a ladder to climb out of the hole HE put you in!

You were not in a hole BEFORE him, remember?

If you do, I guess it's safe to say, you like taking care of a man that does nothing but dig holes that you have to dig yourself out of. 

You deserve better.  

Can't you see that?
